The book begins with Erica Pfeiffer who is a part of a cult society but is secretly working to uncover their secrets. As she delves into the case further, she realises that the Society is hiding precious artefacts that may prove things that wouldn’t be favourable to them. Erica, through her sheer courage and help from John Matthews, doesn’t give up and continues to uncover the truth of the Society to the world.

The book is about the heinous crimes and hypocrisies that this kind of organisation hides behind. It is a thrilling and engaging read. Although I like the plot of the story, I found it to be lagging in pace. Also, apart from The Da Vinci Code the setting of a Christian organisation with conspiracies is alien to me, so probably I wasn’t the right choice of a reader for this particular book.

Nevertheless, The Seeds of Eden is a well-written and researched book, as is evident by the writing style of the author. Recommended for readers who enjoy religious conspiracy thrillers.
